"Cantine Angelinetta", located in Domaso on Lake Como, was born in 2008 by the will of young Emanuele and Eleonora to transform what had so far been a family production inherited from the past into a small professional winery. The cellar and the tasting area are housed in the beautiful villa of Professor Leo Miglio (son of Professor Gianfranco Miglio, illustrious political scientist and pioneer of professional oenology in the area of Lake Como), surrounded by an amazingly suggestive landscape.

"I had my first oenological experiences while I was attending Building and Architectural Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan. Often at that time, when I expressed my intention to become a wine-grower and wine-maker once I graduated, I was called 'crazy'!"

The vineyards, located in Domaso, are clinging to the steep hillsides, hugging the slopes on terraces with dry-stone walls; these conditions impose that all vineyard work is done by hand.
The exposure is South/South-West, the soils are sandy and sub-acid, the vine rows are oriented “a ritocchino” i.e. vines are planted up and down a slope (from peak to valley). Our work consists in preserving and maintaining the unique characteristics of the grape varieties, giving each wine its own distinctive style and personality.

The cellar is arranged on two levels.
On the ground floor are the rooms used for the production and aging of wine in stainless steel vats. In the basement, the barrel vault cellar made of exposed stone guests the wooden oak barrels used for the aging of red wines. 
The production methods combine tradition and innovation. Each choice in the cellar is aimed at expressing the strong territorial connotation and the varietal characteristics of the wines.
